3D space racing game

A weekend experiment in building with Claude AI. It's a 3D space racer that runs entirely in the browser, no downloads, no plugins.

You pilot a mail rocket up an endless ladder of levels. The starting grid holds 22 ships and loses two every round, so the pack keeps thinning and the pressure keeps rising. Between you and the finish line: drifting asteroid fields to thread, glowing acceleration rings to snatch, and a field of AI rivals that stay right on your tail and shoot back.

Fly it from a chase cam or drop into the cockpit, where a working rear-view mirror shows what's gaining on you. Push the boost too hard and it burns out and leaves you coasting while it recharges. When someone locks on, the HUD tells you exactly which way to break. Every race opens with a 360 sweep across the launch grid before the lights go green.

There's a catch that makes it fun to talk about: every rocket, planet, nebula, and sound effect is generated in code. Not a single art file or audio clip, and no build step. The whole game is one HTML file.
